The Jacobean Trial 25th April 2010

Jacobean Trial organiser Glen McKeown reports: “The first round of the Jacobean tends to be the highest scoring of the day, and this one provedto be no different, thanks to a wonderful drop of rain which was considerate enough to be overbefore the trialing day began. We had 39 starters (which would have been 40 without the altruistic Mr Stevenson) and only 4didn’t make it to the end.Of those still running at the end of the Trial, the title of Lantern Rouge went to Matt Westonin his Shelsley Bug, with an overall score of 288. His best two Hills of the day yielded a verycreditable 3 each. Unfortunately his titanic tussle (for last place) with Craig Bazley came to apremature end when Craig retired with a defunct diff (the car had a problem too!).We look forward to seeing you all at the Gloucester Trial on 5 December 2010 - the exactformat of the Trial may depend on the state of the Paddock!!” A full report can be downloaded.
