Nick Tandy won the Formula Palmer Audi shootout at Snetterton circuit on the week-end of November 3-4 in a tight, three-race struggle.

Although his entry was very much a last-minute decision and he had never driven the car competitively before Friday's practice session, Nick qualified fifth and finished fourth in Race One. Good though that was, it proved to be just the warm-up. Now properly familiar with the car, he qualified third and second for Race 2 and 3 respectively - and won both, gaining overall victory in the shootout with 48points to second runner Jack Clarke's 42.

This success, thogether with his win in the Ford Festival, guarantees Nick a place among the six finalists for the 2007 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award; and promises much for 2008.
