A crisp sunny day greeted a full eleven teams for the LCC Charity Karting Challenge on Saturday 3 November at Thruxton's Outdoor Kart Circuit, and after two hour of close racing the results were as follows: 1st Overall Jeremy Hoyland's HOYLAND-HELL-RAISERS team 2nd Overall Hugh Marshall's MPLA-CLC team 3rd Overall BOXALL-SAYER B team There were also three London Car Club Trophies: Fastest Male Driver: MARC HOCKLIN of the MPLA-CLC team with a lap time of 1.01.762 Fastest Female Driver: ELLIE HARRISON of the HOYLAND-HELL-RAISERS with 1.02.801 The REAR GUNNER AWARD went for the second year running to THE DEVON REDS, to whom the club is especially grateful for troubling to travel so far only to get so comprehensively beaten, as did everyone else, by the appropriately named Hoyland-Hell-Raisers.
